Svenska Cellulosa Establishes Two New Business Groups | |

Swedish hygiene and packaging company Svenska Cellulosa AB (ST: SCA B) announced it is establishing two new business groups - SCA Hygiene Growth Markets and SCA Packaging Growth Markets as part of its plan to exploit the growth potentials outside Europe and North America. The Company said that Scott Jungles has been appointed head of SCA Hygiene Growth Markets, which will be based at SCA's existing office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the US. Scott Jungles is currently responsible for SCA's incontinence operations and will assume his new duties effective 1 July 2003. At the same time, Mats Berencreutz has been appointed as the new head of SCA's incontinence operations and will be based at SCA Hygiene Products' office in Munich, Germany. The Company said that further information about SCA Packaging Growth Markets will be provided later. Shares of Svenska Cellulosa lost 2.21 percent to SEK 266 in Stockholm today. | |
