Bitcoin rises to highest since March 10
The most widely watched digital currency continued to advance on Friday after a report Indian authorities may adopt a legal frame for the asset class. The Ministry of Finance has recently launched an initiative with experts and relevant institutions to look into ways to reduce risks from trading in systems such as the bitcoin's and tap on its popularity, domestic media revealed.
One coin added 0.24% to $1,267.85 on OK Coin, after rising to as much as $1,278, unseen since March 10. At BTC China, the bitcoin increased 1.06% to 7,302.01 yuan, compared to the daily high of 7,377, the strongest point against China's currency since March 22. The cryptocurrency advanced to as much as €1,163.638 at Kraken, a record high since March 16, and later traded 0.31% in the green, for €1,156.62.
