European markets seen mostly higher
European stock index futures pointed to a mostly higher open on Tuesday as investors look ahead to speeches from Bank of England Governor Mark Carney and New York Federal Reserve President William Dudley. On the data front, traders will keep an eye on inflation figures from the United Kingdom due later in the day.
The EuroStoxx 50 futures indicated an increase of 0.30%, the DAX is seen 0.17% in the green, the CAC 40 is set to open 0.13% higher, while the FTSE 100 is expected to start almost flat, edging down 0.04%.
The euro rose 0.43% against the dollar to sell for 1.0785 at 8:11 am CET and it climbed 0.60% compared to the yen to change hands for 121.601 at 8:12 am CET. Sterling declined 0.30% against the euro to go for 1.1473 at 8:12 am CET.
