Microsoft, Adobe cooperate on marketing software
Microsoft Corporation and Adobe Systems Inc. collaborated to connect their business software systems, the two companies said on Tuesday.
Adobe said it would cooperate with Microsoft to create a data format, which will be used by Adobe’s Experience Cloud marketing software and Microsoft’s customer-relationship management software, Dynamics. This will enable the software systems to work together seamlessly.
“It’s going to enable to customers to go beyond the current (software) silos they have to navigate today,” Executive Vice President of the cloud and enterprise division at Microsoft Scott Guthrie said.
The joint project would enable the companies to better compete with Salesforce and Oracle, which both offer a combination of sales and marketing software.
