Trump tweets he is set to meet Boeing to talk jobs
United States President Donald Trump tweeted on Friday: "Going to Charleston, South Carolina, in order to spend time with Boeing and talk jobs! Look forward to it."
The president praised Boeing in his press conference yesterday as one of the companies that agreed to cut costs for government contracts. Boeing has a contract to manufacture the next Air Force One aircraft and will soon roll out its new 787-10 passenger airplane.
At the Boeing’s plant in Charleston, Trump will be greeted by Governor Henry McMaster, Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg and other top company officials. Trump’s appearance at the factory is scheduled for 6:30 pm CET.
