U.S. futures point to higher open
Futures of major stock indices in the United States pointed to a higher open on Tuesday as BlackRock and Johnson&Johnson announced their third quarter earnings before the bell. Goldman Sachs quarterly report is due shortly. Investors will also be keeping an eye on U.S. inflation data and the Fed’s Beige Book release due in the afternoon.
S&P 500 was seen as starting the day 0.52% in the green. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is expected to begin 0.58% up, while the Nasdaq 100 is seen as rising 0.64%.
Intel and Yahoo will announce their quarterly reports after markets close tonight.
The dollar index lost 0.12% and stood at 97.77 points at 1:33 p.m. CET.
