UK producer prices rise 3.7% in February
Producer output prices increased by 3.7% in February in the United Kingdom, year on year, the Office for National Statistics announced on Tuesday. The rise means that producer prices are the highest since December 2011.
Meanwhile, input prices, which include the prices of materials and fuels paid by manufacturers, jumped 19.1% compared to February a year ago. The figure marks a decrease from January.
Since last year, prices of imported materials and fuels increased 19.0%, the report said.
