6.3-magnitude earthquake shakes Greece - USGS

A 6.3 earthquake hit the Thessaly region in Greece, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) unveiled on Wednesday.

The data showed that the quake occurred at the depth of 10km, with the epicenter some 10km west-north-west from the Tyrnavos municipality.

According to reports by local media, the tremor was felt in the country's capital Athens. No casualties or injuries have yet been reported.
