Bundesbank: Economic recovery slowed

The German Federal Bank released on Monday its monthly report of October 2020, with an analysis of the developments in the German banking system in the negative interest rate phases, in connection with the existing patterns in international business cycles.

As mentioned in the brief report, there is a slow-paced recovery of the German economy that is expected to slightly continue in the last quarter of the year. It is indicated that industrial production has managed to relatively recover, mainly due to the car industry that appears to be reaching a pre-crisis level of incoming orders, despite the July-August drop in production that is considered to be a temporary indentation.

The overview report provides information about selected recent economic and statistical publications by the Federal Bank of Germany and it is available on the Bundesbank’s website.
