SCOTUS to hear three Trump's financial records cases

The Supreme Court (SCOTUS) will hear three cases related to US President Donald Trump's financial records, according to the court's press release published on Friday.

Two cases involve subpoenas that were issued previously by the House of Representatives after Democrats' initiative, while the one involves an investigation on potential New York State law violations. The court is expected to make a decision in June 2020.

Last week, the Supreme Court temporarily halted a subpoena issued by House Democrats seeking Trump's financial records from Deutsche Bank and Capital One. The president filed a request to SCOTUS for the subpoena to be blocked a day prior to the decision.
