Two directors to step down from EasyJet board

Two non-executive directors of EasyJet, Andy Martin and Charles Gurassa, will leave the company's board as a part of the new business strategy created to preserve the company's finances severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Martin, an independent non-executive director, and Gurassa, the current deputy chairman and senior independent director, will leave their posts on August 31 and December 31, respectively. Both men served on the EasyJet board for nine years.

The British low-cost airline previously announced its chief financial officer (CFO) Andrew Findlay would step down from his position in May 2021.
