Amazon prolongs work from home until January 8 informed its workers on Wednesday that they will not be returning to the office before January 8 as the tech giant decided to prolong its coronavirus-linked work from home policy.

All non-essential business travel will be restricted, the tech giant added, stressing its goal is to keep employees safe.

Earlier, Twitter said it would allow some of its employees to work from home "forever" as a number of companies noticed good performance results from remote workers amid the coronavirus pandemic. Google also said that it will likely keep most of its staff at home until 2021.
