Amazon to pause third-party package deliveries - report

Amazon.com decided to pause its Amazon Shipping operations, a Wall Street Journal report citing people familiar with the matter said.

The company has already informed shippers that the service will not be available at least until June. Amazon Shipping was considered to be a direct rival of FedEx and UPS.

The decision comes as Amazon is trying to focus on delivering its own packages amid a surge in orders during the coronavirus pandemic.
