Apple's security head indicted on bribery charges

Apple's Chief Security Officer Thomas Moyer was indicted by a grand jury on bribery charges on Monday after being accused of giving 200 iPads to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office to secure concealed-weapon permits for the tech giant's employees.

The company insisted Moyer was "innocent" and expressed confidence he will be acquitted.

"We expect all of our employees to conduct themselves with integrity. After learning of the allegations, we conducted a thorough internal investigation and found no wrongdoing," an Apple spokesperson stated.
