Asia trades lower after Japan's jobs report
Major stock market indexes in Asia traded mostly lower on Tuesday after Japan's Statistics Bureau released its latest unemployment figures, which showed a sustained availability in jobs per applicant and a slight decrease in the nation's unemployment rate.
On the Chinese mainland, the Shanghai Composite lost 0.58% at 5:17 am CET, with the Shenzhen Composite down by 0.61% a minute later. Hong Kong's Hang Seng decreased by 0.52% at 5:20 am CET.
At 5:51 am CET, South Korea's Kospi Composite increased by 0.82% as the Australian S&P/ASX 200 stood flat. The dollar traded 0.22% lower against the yen, going for 140.1375 at 5:21 am CET and Japan's Nikkei 225 went down by 0.37% at 4:35 am CET.
