Asia trades mixed after China, Japan data reports

Asian stock markets traded mixed on Tuesday following the release of the latest data reports for China and Japan. China's manufacturing sector recorded growth in November, beating expectations. Japan's unemployment stood at 2.7% in October, dropping 0.1% from September, while industrial production increased 1.1% on a monthly basis.

The Nikkei 225 was up by 0.76% at 4:35 am CET, while S&P/ASX 200 added 0.98% at 4:46 am CET. Hang Seng decreased by 1.15% at the same time, while the Kospi Composite fell by 1.30% at 4:27 am CET.

In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite grew by 0.23% at 4:30 am CET, and the Shenzhen Composite was flat at the same time.

The dollar traded flat against the yen at 4:49 am CET, selling for 113.6585.
