Asia trades mixed after China, Japan data

Asian stock indexes traded mixed on Friday after new reports on the growth of the service sector in Japan and China. The Japanese services activity boomed in November, expanding at the quickest pace for 27 months, while China recorded softer growth.

The Nikkei 225 dropped 0.22% at 4:35 am CET, as Hang Seng lost 1.04% at the same time. The S&P/ASX 200 gained 0.20% at 4:36 am CET, and the Kospi Composite improved by 0.40% at 4:18 am CET.

The Shanghai Composite grew by 0.58% at 4:30 am CET, while the Shenzhen Composite was up by 0.23% at 4:35 am CET.

The dollar traded flat compared to the yen and went for 113.1565 at 4:40 am CET.
