Asia tumbles after Wall Street's losses

Major Asia-Pacific markets traded lower on Thursday, seemingly moving in lockstep with Wall Street, which registered losses after the latest economic data. Meanwhile, investors are anticipating China's trade balance report, which will be released in a short while.

In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite fell 0.51% at 3:07 am CET, while the Shenzhen Composite lost 0.54% a minute later. At 3:09 am CET, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng tumbled 1.65%, South Korea’s Kospi Composite declined 0.35% at the same time.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 decreased 0.29% at 3:10 am CET and Japan's Nikkei 225 slid 1.64%, simultaneously. At 3:11 am CET, the dollar traded 0.38% below the yen, selling for 146.81800.
