United States President Joe Biden in a virtual meeting with his European allies shared concerns about Russian military buildup on its border with Ukraine, with all sides on the call expressing their support for Ukraine's "sovereignty" and "territorial integrity," the White House said in a statement. "The leaders underscored their shared desire for a diplomatic resolution to the current tensions," the statement read.

The participants in the call were European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Charles Michel, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi as well as Polish President Andrzej Duda, according to the White House.
