Black box from Lion Air's Boeing 737 found in sea

Investigators uncovered the cockpit voice recorder, one of the two so-called black boxes, from a new jet which fell in Java Sea on October 29. Authorities said on Monday that human remains were also seen by divers at the bottom at the depth of thirty meters, while the device was found under eight meters of mud. There was also hubris at the location, according to the report.

The flight data recorder from the Boeing 737 Max 8, which was used only two months, was retrieved soon after the crash only fifty meters away. Data showed the speed measuring system had glitches on several occasions before.

The aircraft took off from Jakarta and went off the radar minutes later. All 189 passengers and crew members are presumed dead, while 125 have been identified so far. The accident was followed by dozens of lawsuits by victims' relatives against Boeing.
