Blinken to visit Brussels between April 3 and 5
United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Brussels between April 3 and 5 to attend the meetings of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) foreign ministers and the Energy Council his country formed with the European Union, the State Department announced on Thursday.
Additionally, Blinken will have individual meetings with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. "During the NATO Foreign Ministerial, Secretary Blinken will emphasize continued US support for Ukraine and our commitment to transatlantic security and the rules-based international order," the statement read.
The document also said Blinken will "discuss ensuring energy security while accelerating the clean energy transition during the US-EU Energy Council meeting."
