Boeing doesn't need new debts to raise cash - CFO

Chief financial officer of American airplane company Boeing Co. Greg Smith stated on Wednesday he doesn’t think there is a necessity of adding more money to the company through additional debt offerings adding that the number one priority is be paying off the debt the company already has.

Smith stressed Boeing stays focused on making "the right investments at the right time to maintain a competitive advantage."

Last week the company announced it will stop making the 747 aircraft in 2022 as well as cut the production of 787s to six per month next year.
