Booker: We have a problem at Mexico border

United States presidential candidate Cory Booker agreed with the Trump administration that Washington is facing a problem at the border with Mexico. "We do have a problem at the southern border. Democrats should not deny that we do. Nations should have borders, borders should be respected," he stated at an event in Iowa.

However, the New Jersey senator criticized the administration's approach to the issue, stating that US President Donald Trump's "technologies don’t work." Booker said he spoke to border patrol officers who told him a "wall coast to coast" is not an efficient solution. "We have a time now where you can use sensors and technologies and drones and a lot more to protect the border, which is what we should do," Booker suggested.
