Brexit talks between Labour, gov't officially end

Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn ended Brexit talks with the United Kingdom's government, multiple media reported on Friday. In a letter to the UK Prime Minister Theresa May, Corbyn said that the negotiations will be halted due to the "increasing weakness and instability" of her cabinet.

Corbyn stated that the talks on UK's departure from the European Union have "gone as far as they can." He added that the political party he leads will continue to oppose the current Brexit deal, and advised May to again "test the will of parliament."

Earlier during the day, media reported that a joint bill on the withdrawal from the EU has been scrapped amid an impasse in discussions.
