Brexit vote timeline dependent on Labour talks - Lidington

David Lidington, who's frequently described as Prime Minister Theresa May's de facto Deputy Prime Minister, said on Thursday that he couldn't give an exact time on when the PM's Brexit deal with be brought back to the Parliament, stating the timing largely depends on the talks with the Labour party.

"We need to get this Brexit deal done before new EU parliament comes in in July," the MP warned.

Commenting on Scottish National Party (SNP) leader and First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon call for a second Scottish independence referendum, Lidington claimed it wouldn't be possible before 2021.
