Canada extends travel curbs until February 21
Canadian authorities on Thursday extended travel restrictions for people coming into the country until February 21.
"We are extending restrictions on non-US international travel into Canada until February 21st, 2021. Our Government will never hesitate to take the strong action needed to keep Canadians safe from #COVID19 while maintaining essential trade with our international partners," Minister for Public Safety Bill Blair (pictured) stated.
Canada currently requires all travelers above the age of five to provide a negative coronavirus test to enter. Additionally, everyone arriving into the country must enter a mandatory 14-day quarantine.
