CDC says fully vaccinated people can gather without masks

The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released its updated coronavirus pandemic guidelines on Monday, which revealed the agency believes it is now safe for fully vaccinated people to gather without masks or social distancing measures indoors.

Furthermore, the CDC guidance said that people who are two weeks past their final vaccine shot can meet with unvaccinated members of a single household indoors as well. Fully vaccinated Americans also don't require quarantine or COVID-19 testing after being exposed to the virus as long as they show no symptoms.

However, the CDC still does not recommend fully vaccinated people engage in non-essential travel and they still advise all people wear masks in all public spaces.
