CDC should be clear with COVID policy changes - Walensky
Rochelle Walensky, director of the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), told the Wall Street Journal in an interview that the agency should communicate its COVID-19 policy and all policy changes to the public to provide more clarity.
"I think what I have not conveyed is the uncertainty in a lot of these situations," Walensky noted, vowing to make it clear to the public that the guidelines could change in the future.
The CDC recently made a decision to reduce its recommended isolation period for asymptomatic people from 10 to five days.
