Business description
Centamin plc is a mineral exploration, development and mining company dual listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: CEY) and the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: CEE). Centamin's principal asset, the Sukari Gold Mine, began production in 2009 and is the first large scale modern gold mine in Egypt, with production ramping up towards c.500,000 ounces per annum by 2017. Its most advanced exploration projects are located in highly prospective regions within the investor-friendly jurisdictions of Burkina Faso and Cote d'Ivoire.
