China's trade surplus shrinks to $69.8B in November
The Chinese trade surplus declined in November, which was in line with market expectations, the country's General Administration of Customs said on Wednesday. The figure landed at $69.8 billion to hit its lowest level since April, down compared to last month's trade balance of $85.1 billion.
The country's exports decreased by 8.7% in dollar terms on an annual basis, with imports dropping by 10.6%, both below analysts' projections.
