China's trade surplus surges to $101.26B in July

China's trade surplus jumped by 82% to come at $101.26 billion in July, surpassing the forecasts, according to official data published by the country's General Administration of Customs on Sunday.

Exports increased by 18% on an annual basis, going above experts' estimates and growing at the quickest rate since January 2022, reaching $332.96 billion. Meanwhile, imports gained 2.3%, coming at $231.7 billion.
