China's trade surplus widens to $51.5B in June

The Chinese trade surplus has expanded to $51.5 billion in June compared to last month's $45.53 billion, the country's General Administration of Customs said on Monday.

The June 2021 surplus increased surprising expectations compared to the trade balance seen in the same month last year.

The country's exports rose by 32.2% on an annual basis, with imports rising by 36.7%.
