Coca-Cola's EPS up by 37% in Q3

The Coca-Cola Company announced on Friday that its revenue for the third quarter of 2019 rose by 8% annually and amounted to $9.50 billion. The company's earnings per share (EPS) stood at $0.60, a jump of 37% year-on-year.

The year-to-date cash from operations reached &7.8 billion and was up 37% due to strong underlying growth, working capital initiatives and the timing of tax payments, the release from the company noted. Year-to-date cash flow stood at $6.6 billion, increasing by 41%. Diluted net income per share was $1.60, an improvement from the same time last year when it amounted to $1.29.

"Our performance gives us confidence that our strategies are taking hold with our consumers, customers and system. We are positioning the company to create a better shared future for all of our stakeholders by delivering on our vision and growing sustainably," commented CEO of Coca-Cola, " James Quincey.

Shares were up by 1% in premarket trade after the results were published.
