Crude prices climb over 3% on supply woes

Crude oil prices continued to climb on Tuesday, after falling to the lowest levels recorded since January of this year the day before.

The increase in commodity prices appears to be caused by resurgent supply worries in response to reports that OPEC+ may curb production in order to prevent a further decline in prices.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for settlements in November jumped by 3.09% at 10:00 am ET to sell for $79.23. At the same time, for the same month's settlements, Brent rose by 3.06% selling for $86.83.
