Crude stockpiles in US drop by 3.09M barrels - report

Crude oil stockpiles in the United States plunged 3.09 million barrels in the week ending December 3, private data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) reportedly revealed on Tuesday. Reserves in Cushing, Oklahoma, reportedly gained 2.4 million barrels.

Gasoline stockpiles soared 3.7 million barrels, while distillate inventories added 1.23 million barrels, according to the reported data.

Brent for February 2022 deliveries jumped 2.02% to go for $75.12 per barrel at 4:36 pm ET, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for settlements in January was 2.4% higher, selling for $71.72 per barrel at the same time.
