Cryptos surrender, Bitcoin down over 3%

The world's leading cryptocurrencies surrendered on Friday as cracks in the banking sector resurfaced, with investors worrying that the crisis may not be done yet.

The uncertainty affecting the financial institutions worldwide appeared to have taken a toll, with the shares of the German lender, Deutsche Bank, recording significant losses in the final trading session of the week following an increase in credit default swaps.

At 5:59 pm ET, Bitcoin plunged by 3.37%, selling for $27,382 while Ether dipped by 3.86% at the same time, going for $1,745.
