Dalio: We are on brink of economic war with China
Billionaire investor Ray Dalio argued on Thursday that the United States is "on the brink" of economic war with China, as the tensions between the two countries continued to escalate in the past months.
Dalio, the founder of the investment management company Bridgewater Associates, also commented for CNBC about the ongoing economic crisis in the US. "I don't think this type of recession is bad," he claimed.
Turning to the topic of cryptocurrencies, the 73-year-old hedge fund manager stressed that Bitcoin isn't a good store of wealth or medium of exchange, however warning that fiat money is in jeopardy across the globe. "The best thing would be an inflation-linked coin," he explained.
