Dow futures drop 350 pts on COVID-19 fears

Equities on Wall Street dropped in premarket trade on Thursday, with the Dow Jones falling over 350 index points. The investors are waiting for the United States Census Bureau to release the data on the wholesale inventories. US Department of Labor will also be reporting data on initial jobless claims. Later in the day, the US Bureau of Economic Analysis will release the data on the fourth-quarter gross domestic product.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 1.86% at 4:29 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 fell by 1.55% while the S&P 500 went down by 1.84 at 4:30 am ET.

The euro advanced 0.37% against the dollar, going for 1.09242 at 4:26 am ET.
