Dow jumps 100 pts in premarket as trade fears subside

Wall Street traded in the green in premarket on Friday as traders digested the latest easing of tensions between the US and China following Beijing's announcement about exempting American soy and pork from tariffs, roughly a month after the Asian nation halted the purchase of US farm products.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 101 points, or 0.37% at 6:09 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 jumped 0.36%, while the S&P 500 added 0.36%.

The euro added 0.38% on the dollar, buying 1.11054 at 6:10 am ET.
