Dow rises 100 pts premarket with more data in spotlight
Stock exchanges in the United States traded with gains ahead of their Wednesday session, recovering only partially from the drop seen a day earlier. Traders will shift their attention to the durable goods report later in the day while also awaiting the final estimate on the country's second-quarter economic growth tomorrow.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average index gained 0.36% or 123 points, the Nasdaq 100 advanced 0.52% and the S&P 500 was up 0.45% at 4:14 am ET.
The euro was 0.07% lower compared to the US dollar, changing hands for 1.05655 at the same time.
