Dow up 100 pts premarket on trade optimism

Wall Street indices continued posting gains in the premarket on Friday as investors anticipated a possible official announcement of a trade deal between Washington and Beijing. Yesterday, reports claimed that US President Donald Trump already approved a deal that includes reductions of existing tariffs and postponement of some that were sett o take effect on December 15.

Asian stock also jumped with trade in focus, and the Nikkei 225 closed 2.55% in the green. Meanwhile, shares in Europe surged after Conservatives won snap elections in a landslide.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average index added 100 points at 4:15 am ET, or 0.34%. The S&P 500 increased 0.43% at the same time, as the Nasdaq 100 climbed 0.34% in premarket trade.

The euro traded 0.34% higher against the dollar at 4:17 am ET, going for $1.11704.
