Draghi warns of Brexit, says ECB ‘ready’ for all outcomes

The European Central Bank believes the United Kingdom should remain a member of the European Union, the institution’s chief Mario Draghi said on Thursday.  He stressed that the ECB is ready for any outcome of the country’s June 23 referendum.

Draghi also said that the ECB is ready to act if the outlook for Eurozone inflation changes.

The ECB is against a so-called Brexit since the U.K. is beneficial to the Eurozone and vice versa, the bank’s president said. He also pointed out to “permanence” as a factor of stability.
