Easing England lockdown to be put off by up to 4 weeks - report

Further easing of the coronavirus pandemic-caused restrictive measures in England, initially set for June 21, will be postponed by up to four weeks, according to a report published by The Times.

United Kingdom government sources told the media outlet that Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to formally announce the decision tomorrow at a Downing Street press conference.

The authorities will reportedly use the delay to try to achieve their goal of having offered all adult residents at least one vaccine dose by the end of July.
