EIA: US natural gas storage grows by 104 Bcf
Working natural gas in storage in the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii, stood at 2,550 billion cubic feet (Bcf) as of June 2, according to the US Energy Information Administration's (EIA) report released on Thursday.
The total storage thus expanded by 104 Bcf compared to the previous week.
Inventories stood at 562 Bcf, above last year's figure at this time and 353 Bcf higher than the five-year average of 2,197 Bcf. At 2,550 Bcf, total working gas falls within the five-year historical range.
