Europe flat to higher in premarket amid earnings

European stocks traded flat to higher during Friday's premarket session amid a busy day of earnings reports from a number of major companies. Deutsche Bank and Sanofi posted their quarterly results earlier today, while Total, Royal Bank of Scotland, Sony, Daimler, Renault and AstraZeneca are set to reveal their figures shortly.

The FTSE 100 was 0.16% higher before the opening bell, while the DAX traded just 0.2% over the flat line. At the same time, the CAC 40 was little changed in the premarket session. The euro was 0.06% higher against the dollar to sell for 1.1138 at 7:56 am CET, while the pound added 0.04% versus the greenback to go for 1.2903 at the same time.
