Europe flat to higher premarket after German data

European stock markets were flat to higher premarket on Thursday after Germany posted unchanged Gross Domestic Product figures for the fourth quarter of 2018 compared to the previous three-month period. Meanwhile, corporate quarterly earnings kept coming in with Airbus, Nestle, Renault, and AstraZeneca reporting before the bell. Additionally, the European banking sector, including Credit Suisse, Credit Agricole, and Commerzbank, also released earnings reports today.

The FTSE 100 was flat, while the DAX gained 0.59% premarket. Meanwhile the CAC 40 increased 0.54% during premarket trading. The euro added 0.14% against the dollar, to change hands for 1.1281 at 8:52 am CET.
