Europe seen mixed ahead of data, earnings

European markets stock index futures pointed to a mixed open, as investors await economic data from the United Kingdom and the European Union. Meanwhile, market watchers will be focusing on earnings reports from investment Bank Goldman Sachs and pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson. Yesterday, UK Prime Minister Theresa Mays said during her address to the parliament that the strikes on Syria were meant to "alleviate human suffering."

The FTSE 100 is set to lose 0.82%, the DAX is seen 0.52% in the green and the CAC 40 expected to add 0.35%. The euro was up 0.08% against the dollar to go for 1.2390 at 8:17 am CET.
