Eurozone investor confidence worsens in June
The overall economic index for the Eurozone decreased from negative 13.1 in May to negative 17 in June, a report by Sentix showed on Monday.
The Current situation index declined from negative seven in the previous month to negative 15.8 in May, while the Expectations index improved from negative 19 to negative 18.3.
"The German economy is currently experiencing a downright crash. Instead of a spring revival, the recessionary forces are coming back with a vengeance... A look at the sentix data of the largest economy then clearly shows that the cause of the misery in Euroland is probably linked to the weakness of the German economy," it was said in the report.
