Eurozone's inflation up to 4.9% in November

The Eurozone's annual inflation is expected to come in at 4.9% in November, which is a rise of 0.8% in comparison to the month before and well above market expectations, Eurostat said in its preliminary report published on Tuesday.

The report projected that energy will be the major contributor to the rise, with the fees for it going up by 27.4% in November. In October, the prices of that commodity expanded by 23.7%.

The increase in the costs of energy will be followed by services with 2.7%, non-energy industrial goods with 2.4%, and food, alcohol and tobacco with 2.2%.
