Fed releases summary of economic projections

Federal Reserve released on Wednesday forecast for the United States gross domestic product, unemployment, and inflation.

The GDP is expected to contact between 3.7% and 6.5% in 2020, while growing between 4.0% and 5.0% in the next year. Meanwhile, the unemployment rate in the current year is anticipated to be between 7.6% and 9.3%. By 2023, it should reach 4.0%.

PCE inflation is expected to be between 1.2% and 0.8% in 2020, while core PCE inflation should be between 1.5% and 1.0%. They are both expected to reach the Fed's 2.0% target by 2023.
